Be present. Be aware. Be interruptible.

No matter how busy she gets, or how many tasks there are on her to-do list, Claudia always takes the time to stop for a community member, and enter the moment with them with her full attention. That means seeing and listening not just with her eyes and ears, but with her heart.

Claudia adds that taking the time to be present for people goes a long way to reassuring them that they are valued and appreciated. Because for Claudia, it doesn't matter how long a person has been on this earth, everybody deserves to be acknowledged, respected, and treated with dignity. Ultimately, people are never interruptions to her focus, they are her focus.
